Thankful Thursday, Binky-Free

I am so happy Ellie has gone binky-free! Yes, some things are a little different (bedtime and rides to and from work) but I am thankful she was able to make the change without any trauma. She seems to be just fine without it.

Thankful Thursday, Spring is here

Today I am so thankful that Spring has Sprung. Trees are budding. It is sunny and 60 degrees here. Tomorrow it is supposed to be in the high 60s and Saturday is supposed to be in the 70s. I am so looking forward to the great weather and the trees really showing some more green.

Thankful Thursday, Healthy Easter (so far)

This Thursday I am thankful that Ellie and her entire daycare class are not violently ill with a stomach bug. If you recall, last year was "The Year Without Easter." It was terrible. So far this year, we are all bug free! Fingers-crossed we will remain that way a few more days.

Thankful Thursday, Diet Dr. Pepper

I am thankful for Diet Dr. Pepper. It really is the best diet soda out there. Yummy!

 

Thankful Thursday, No. 8

I am thankful Ellie slept the entire way into work this morning. She was up WAY too much last night and was a complete crank this morning. Apparently, I was not alone. Another mom here at work had the same issues with her two kids. At least I only had one to work with last night.

Today is going to be short and sweet. I am thankful that my hubbie wanted to stay home with his sick little girl today.

I am thankful that I am able to look back on my life and learn from both my mistakes and my family's. I hope that Ellie grows up to be able to do the same.

Thankful Thursday, No. 4

I am so thankful that I have a great relationship with my neice, Leslie and in spite of all the drama my sister has brought into our lives, my neice is turning out to be a really good person.

I am so happy that my awesomly cool neice is getting her life in order. She graduated, is in a good relationship with a rock star (!) and she is moving to Orlando. Anyone out there own a salon where she can work? She just finished hair school (not sure what you really call it but...) and needs to put all she has learned to work.

As you can see, I adore this girl and want nothing but the best for her.
