The past few weeks have flown by. I am so far behind on my crafting (and everything else) that I have not gotten my round robin sewing done for tomorrow. Not only is it not complete but it will not be completed in time. There is no way I can get to it tonight and I refuse to rush through it and possibly not do as good of a job as it deserves. I hope my fellow RR participants are not too upset with me.
In addition to not having the RR sewing done, I have not even begun the sewing for the charity quilt that Trish is creating. I need to get that done ASAP. This is the last month for it and once Trish has all the blocks she can start working on finishing it for donation. Isn't she sweet? Normally she would make a quilt for donation but this time she had a little fun with it and asked us all to join in with her.
So a few weeks have gone by and I am behind. The bigger news about time flying is that Bellie is almost a year old!!! Can you believe that? I am at a loss for words when I see how much she has changed in the past 11 1/2 months. She is quite amazing. My days would be so boring without her. She is such a treat. I am working on planning her party now. Who knew party planning for a one year old was so hard? My friend Sarah is working on getting me the perfect partyware. Wouldn't you know that I find what I want just after they stop selling it in the US? So she is working on getting it possibly from the UK or seeing if one of her US clients can special order it for me. That would be ideal. They are right around the corner from my house. How did I get so lucky to have such a great friend? I simply showed up to a S&B at the local bookstore one Saturday afternoon when no one else decided to show up and meet her. Lucky me, right? She will even babysit a sick Bellie for coffee and chocolate. See how great she is?
Ok, enough for now. I was feeling bad about not posting lately and wanted let everyone know why I was not posting. Time to get back to work...BOO!
